Gunpoint Rape Suspect Caught, Charged: Philadelphia Police
A man who was allegedly posing as a landscaper and raped a woman at gunpoint in early August has been arrested and charged, police said.

PHILADELPHIA – Philadelphia Police announced the arrest of a man suspected of sexually assaulting a woman at gunpoint in the basement of an East Johnson Street home on Aug. 7.
Police arrested Keion Wells, 22, of Philadelphia, on Aug. 15 for the alleged assault.
Wells has been hit with 15 charges, including rape, robbery, sexual assault, aggravated assault, terroristic threats, and related charges, according to court records

Wells will appear for a preliminary hearing on Sept. 6, court records show.
Police said at about 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7, a 30-year-old woman was in her home on the first block of East Johnson Street when a man, allegedly Wells, entered the home through the basement.

Wells, who was masquerading as a landscaper, then pulled out a silver handgun and then sexually assaulted the victim, police said.
He stole the woman's iPhone 6 Plus and fled the area, heading north on Morton Street from Johnson Street, police said.
The victim's cellphone was later found by a passerby at Morton and Johnson streets, according to police.
