The
Just Believe: Listening and Release Party is an opportunity for
supporters and music aficionados to sample music from Tim Spady &
Inspiration's second full-length album, Just
Believe.
The album is full of songs that encourage the listener to believe and
trust in God. A host of incredible artists grace this recording,
including Philadelphia's own Nneka Best, Jeff Murrell, and Chiquita
Green. The album also features Vanessa Williams of Richard
Smallwood's award-winning ensemble “Vision.”
Tim
Spady is a native Philadelphian and one of the city's greatest
musical talents. Born in 1988, by the time he was a teenager, it was
clear that music, especially playing the piano, had become his
passion. Tim honed his craft by pulling from a variety of sources,
including his God-given musical ear, studying music theory at The
Haverford School under world-renowned organist Michael Stairs, formal
lessons from the Gibson School of Music, and a host of musical
friends and family. Tim’s public piano playing began at the age of
fourteen when his aunt convinced him to play for the Children’s
Choir his Mt. Airy, Philadelphia church.
Since
then, Tim has composed numerous songs, has recorded for and plays
with different local Philadelphia artists and has played for numerous
musical functions. He graduated from Franklin & Marshall College
in Lancaster, PA, where he studied sociology, in 2011. At Franklin &
Marshall College, he was the Director of Voices of Praise, the gospel
choir at the college, a choir he re-founded.

Tim
released his first demo project, Highest
Praise in August of 2007,
and his first full length album, Songs
From My Heart, in March
of 2011. Tim's upcoming album, entitled Just
Believe will be released
on May 27th, 2014. The public is invited to celebrate this
achievement at the Listening
& Release Party
on May 24, 2014. The party will be open to the public and light
refreshments will be served. Attendees will also have an opportunity
to interact with the artist and win a free copy of Just
Believe.
