Man Helped Ex Chestnut Hill School Teacher Get Child Porn: Feds
Authorities said he ran a catfishing scheme with former Springside Chestnut Hill Academy teacher Andrew Wolf, who is in federal custody.
CHESTNUT HILL, PA — A man from New York State has been charged as an accomplice to a former Chestnut Hill school teacher in a child pornography case.
Federal authorities said Kray Strange, 19, of Carthage, New York, was arrested Thursday and charged by federal criminal complaint with manufacturing and distributing child pornography, and willfully causing and aiding and abetting the manufacture and distribution of child pornography.
Strange's charged stem from his alleged involvement in an online catfishing scheme with former Springside Chestnut Hill Academy teacher Andrew Wolf. Federal authorities said Strange and Wolf ran the scheme for more than a year during 2020 and 2021.

Wolf was arrested on Oct. 7, 2021, and is in federal custody on charges including receiving child pornography and distribution of child pornography.
Authorities said he targeted young boys on social media platforms while impersonating a teenage girl to get them to send sexually explicit images and videos of themselves and send them to Strange, who then shared them with Wolf online.

"As alleged in the Criminal Complaint, the defendant communicated with children for the purpose of sexually exploiting their innocence," said U.S. Attorney Jennifer Arbittier Williams said. "The convenience and accessibility of digital communications, coupled with the ease with which child sexual exploitation crimes can be concealed online, make these cases extremely difficult to investigate and prosecute. However, our Office and our law enforcement partners are committed to doing this difficult work in order to hold child sexual predators accountable."
If convicted, Strange faces a maximum possible sentence of 40 years’ imprisonment.
