NFA's Got Talent! Norwood-Fontbonne Academy talent show celebrates with “surprise” performance.

Annually Norwood-Fontbonne Academy students showcase their energy and talent at the Student Council-sponsored Talent Show. This year’s was topped with a great surprise ending. The show, held in connection with the school’s ‘Legacy Week,’ featured twelve acts, each representing a grade level or homeroom.  Original music compositions, to vocal performances, band groups, dance and gymnastics routines and a magic demonstration offered a canvas of student ability and talent. The unexpected grand finale was a true celebration of the NFA legacy with a “surprise” visit from Mother St. John Fontbonne (the school’s namesake) and Mother St. John Fournier (foundress of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Chestnut Hill) otherwise known as spirited NFA teachers, Erin Wallin (Chestnut Hill), front center, and Annmarie Greenberg (Wyndmoor), center stage. “Just as we are part of the legacy and history of Norwood-Fontbonne Academy, so are you, boys and girls” the sisters shared in their kindly message. The Sister Choir comprised of many NFA staff brought the audience to their feet as the choir performed their rendition of “My God” a reprise of the song "My Guy" from Sister Act.
