Chestnut Hill College will host the chamber music ensemble, Philalea, on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. in the Rotunda, St. Joseph Hall.
Violinist Andreia Torain, cellist Linda Metzler and pianist Elise Auerbach have been performing together since 2012, making chamber music relevant and enjoyable for modern audiences. Each possesses a wealth of musical knowledge and talent. Freelance musicians by trade, the trio has performed with numerous groups in the Philadelphia area and around the world, including the Philadelphia Classical Symphony, the Delaware Symphony, the Fairmount Chamber Ensemble, the Reading Symphony and the Ash Lawn Highland Opera Festival. Pianist Elise Auerbach has performed at Carnegie Hall Weill Recital Hall and at the Croatian Embassy in Washington, D.C.
