Preaching with Power Lecture: Dr. Cain Hope Felder

The annual Preaching with Power lecture for 2014 will be presented by Dr. Cain Hope Felder, Professor of New Testament Language and Literature at Howard University School of Divinity. Also a writer, Dr. Felder has published works including True to Our Native Land and Troubling Waters: Race, Class, and Family, while also working as an editor on works such as The Seasons of Lent: Proclamation Commentary and The Original African Heritage Study Bible. In addition to his publications, Dr. Felder is known as the founder of the Biblical Institute of Social Change, housed in Washington, D.C. With an MPhil and PhD from Columbia University, as well as an MDiv from Union Theological Seminary and a Diploma in Theology from Oxford University, Dr. Felder brings a plethora of academic expertise to the pulpit and classroom.
