Carter is recognized in his community as a leader in the church. Dr. Carter received his Bachelor’s in Religious Studies from Denison University, his Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, and his Doctor of Philosophy from Drew University, focused on Liturgical Studies. He has been pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Morristown, New Jersey for the past 24 years, as well as an adjunct professor at Drew University.
