Rowan Students Get Physical with Parents for Annual ‘Fitness Days’
Parents are invited to participate in fun, physical activities with their children.
Area parents climbed a rope, rode a scooter and participated in other physical activities with their students during “Fitness Days.”
The annual event—which included a canned food drive—took place all week at the grade-school. Another fitness day will be held March 20.
Physical education teacher Mike Manipole said students worked on fitness training and fitness principals for two weeks prior to the event. When their families arrived at the school, the students showed them how to complete the fitness station set up inside the school gym.
