2 Warrington Men Charged With Possession Of Child Pornography

In separate cases, Warrington Township police detectives arrested two township men for possessing child pornography.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Two Warrington Township men have been charged with sexual abuse of children (possession of child pornography) and use of a communication device in separate cyber case investigations in the township.

On Oct. 4, the police department's criminal investigation division was notified by a cyber tip through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. According to the tip, a Pennsylvania resident, later identified as 23-year-old Daniel Kevin Healey Jr., was sending funds to a couple overseas who were sexually exploiting their four children via live stream.

A search warrant was served on Healey Jr.'s cellular telephone, in which more than 500 files of child sexual abuse material were discovered.

Healey Jr. turned surrendered to Warrington Police Detectives on Jan. 5 and was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Stacy Wertman. He was released from custody on $100,000 unsecured bail.

The Warrington Township Police Department was assisted in its investigation by Homeland Security, Bucks County Detectives, Warwick Township Police, and the FBI's Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory.

In a separate case, 70-year-old Lawrence Williams of Warrington was charged with two counts of possession of child pornography and one count of use of a communication facility.

On August 7, while conducting undercover operations into the sharing of child pornography online, a computer was located that was displaying an IP address in Warrington Township. Several files containing child sexual abuse material were downloaded from the computer.

Following the downloads, a search warrant for all electronic devices was served at the residence where the IP address was registered. The devices were analyzed and several more files that contained child sexual abuse material were located. The owner of the devices was determined to be Lawrence Williams of Warrington.

Williams surrendered to Warrington Police Detectives on Jan. 4. He was processed on 2 counts of Sexual Abuse of Children (Possession of Child Pornography) and one count of Criminal Use of a Communication Facility.

Williams was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Stacy Wertman and was released on unsecured bail after meeting his bail conditions.

The Warrington Police Department was assisted in its investigation by Homeland Security Investigations, Bucks County Detectives, and the New Britain Township Police Department, as well as the FBI's Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory.
