45 From Central Bucks Named National Merit Scholarship Commended Students

Forty-five students from the Central Bucks School District have been named National Merit Scholarship Commended Students.

According to information from the district, approximately 34,000 Commended Students nationwide have been recognized for their exceptional academic promise. More than 1.6 million students entered the 2017 competition by taking the 2015 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

Central Bucks School District's Commended Students placed among the top five percent, the district said.
