Catalytic Converter Thefts On The Rise In Warrington Township

Police took more than 10 theft reports over the last week. They also arrested a man while in the process of attempting to steal a converter.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Police departments throughout the region are continuing to see an increase in catalytic converter thefts.

In Warrington Township, police took more than 10 theft reports during the past week. They also took one individual into custody while in the process of attempting to steal a catalytic converter from a vehicle in the township.

"We urge residents to take steps to not fall victim to theft. Our department will continue to have increased patrols in highly targeted areas for such thefts," said Chief Daniel Friehl.
