CB West Baseball Holding Dominic Liples Scholarship Fundraiser

CB West Baseball is holding a fundraiser to support their CB West Baseball Dominic Liples Scholarship Fund, which awards a $500 scholarship to a CB West Baseball senior player who best represented Dominic's consistent positive attitude and ability.

The fundraiser will be held on Mon. Nov. 19, 2018, from 4pm-8pm, at the Chipotle Mexican Grill, 569 N. Main Street, Doylestown.

CB West Baseball was proud to have Dominic Liples throw out the first pitch at our May 16, 2016 final home game. As he stood on the pitcher's mound in his authentic CB West Baseball cap, his smile lit up the entire field, and it was hard to find a dry eye in the stands or on the sidelines--or even on the benches.

On Dec. 7, 2016, Dominic lost his battle, but he left a lasting impression on the community, and especially on CB West Baseball.

Aaron Worthington was the first recipient of the award in June 2017. Trevor D’Arcy won the award in 2018.

During the event, CB West Baseball will also accept toy donations to benefit the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Oncology Department.
