Demolition Of Doylestown Township Building Underway

Demolition of the Doylestown Township municipal building has officially begun.

Demolition of the Doylestown Township municipal building is underway. Crews began to demo the building Thursday. Work on a new municipal complex will begin once demolition is complete, said Doylestown Township Manager Stephanie Mason.

The new building, which is currently estimated to cost approximately $11 million, will take between 16 and 18 months to complete, Mason said.

The new administration and police building will be a single-floor, 25,485 square-foot structure. The existing building was approximately 15,564 square feet, according to figures provided by Mason.
