Doylestown Community Mourns As Dominic Liples Loses Months-Long Brain Tumor Battle
Hundreds of community members have shown an outpouring of love, sympathy, condolences, thoughts and prayers to Dominic's family.

After a months-long battle, numerous community events and countless area residents showing support through prayers, kind words, donations and more, young Dominic Liples has left us, according to his family.
Dominic lost his fight during the early morning Wednesday, his family said on the Pray For Dominic Facebook page.
"On March 7 of this year, we found a tumor in Dominic's brain," his family wrote. "Exactly 9 months to the day, at 2:10 this morning, our precious Dominic went on to live with Jesus, as he so gently put it."

The 8-year-old's fight with a Glioblastoma tumor led to a tremendous outpouring of support from the community.
There were concerts, fundraisers, songs, a website and even visits from TV crews to help the Liples family through the trying time.

"Thank you for praying for our sweet boy," his family wrote.
Clearly, Dominic affected the community in a major way, and his family said they will keep the community that supported them through Dominic's fight informed as to how they will celebrate his life.
When his family posted the update on Dominic Wednesday afternoon, hundreds of comments showing support, expressing sadness, sending prayers and thoughts, and sharing sympathies were made in less than half an hour.
In the post, Dominic's family shared a video montage of Dominic and his family's difficult journey over the last nine months.
