Doylestown's Thompson Performing Arts Series Kicks Off Friday
Another summer, another round of free concerts and movies in Doylestown. Here is the 2018 schedule.

Another summer, another round of free concerts and movies in Doylestown.
The Thompson Performing Arts Series, organized by the Doylestown Township Parks and Recreation, kicks off on June 15 with an outdoor screening of "The Lion King" and continues through the summer with concerts, more movies and even a bicentennial celebration with fireworks.
Performances will include classic rock bands, community bands, jazz and much more.

All events will be held at the Covenant Bank Amphitheater in Central Park, 425 Wells Road, Doylestown. Concerts are held at Lenape Middle School in the event of inclement weather.

June 27: River of Dreams
July 11: Quakertown Band
July 15: Bicentennial celebration to feature Bigg Romeo followed by fireworks. The cost to park is $5 a car.
July 25: Blue Jupiter

Aug 8: The Ragbirds
Aug 15: Little Red Rooster Band
Aug 22: Sensational Soul Cruisers
Aug 25: Rockin' Back To School
Aug 29: The Sofa Kings
