Doylestown to be Featured on Live TV May 22

If you've ever wanted to be on TV, next week just might be your chance.

Doylestown will be featured on live television Wednesday May 22 from 7 to 10 a.m. as part of the Good Day Philadelphia show’s "Celebrate Your Town" series.

Fox 29 will be shooting a live television segment downtown at State and Main streets. Doylestown businesses invite shoppers and residents alike to come to town as a show of support.

“We are asking every business in town to invite their customers to join us that morning, so we can really celebrate Doylestown with Fox 29,” said Derrick Morgan of the Merchants of Doylestown. “We plan to have many businesses set up with tables along State Street so people can sample all that Doylestown has to offer.”

The morning will be broken up into segments highlighting arts, culture, dining, entertainment and shopping offered in downtown Doylestown, Morgan explained.

He advised those planning to come out to check the Merchants of Doylestown Facebook page for updates on hours and specials at various businesses.

“This is your chance to be on TV and support your town, so come on down to State Street & Main Street to be a part of the exciting event,” a Merchants of Doylestown announcement said.
