DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — One of Doylestown's newest and more unique businesses, the DripBar, will celebrate its grand opening on Friday, Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Mercer Square Shopping Center between Weis Markets and Panera Bread.

Owner Tom Watson will join members of the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce at 11 a.m. in cutting the ribbon on the new one-stop shop for vitamin therapy delivered through IV drips, red light therapy, infrared saunas and more.

"IV drips are becoming increasingly popular as people become more aware of the numerous benefits they offer," said Watson. "IV drips are designed for every kind of lifestyle. From active athletes to people struggling with chronic illness – and everyone in between – The DripBar offers something for just about everyone."

Following the simple philosophy, "Feed Your Cells. Fuel Your Life," the DripBar is about "properly hydrating the body, feeding your cells, and making you healthier,” said Watson.

At the heart of its offerings are its IV drip therapies.

"Custom-mixed in-house from a saline solution, each drip is created to cater to your unique needs," said Watson. "Whether you're looking for an energy boost, immune support, or detoxification, our IV drips are designed to deliver essential nutrients directly into your
bloodstream for maximum absorption."

The drips, said Watson, are paired with vitamins to attack a myriad of problems from fighting certain illnesses and diseases, accelerating the healing process to reversing or decreasing the signs of aging.

“You need more energy, there’s a drip formulated for that. You need more immune system support, there’s a drip for that. You have a lot of anxiety, there’s a drip for that,” said Watson.

Drips range from “The debut,” featuring a blend of vitamins and hydration intended to support immune function, energy, mental clarity, and general well-being, to “the Restoration,” a full liter bag that helps flush toxins out of the body while providing micronutrients, antioxidants, and fluid to help accelerate rehydration and recovery.

Other drips include the Jetsetter, the Allstate, the Soother, the Shield, the Powerpack, the Flu Fighter, the Time Machine, and others.

Drips, which can last anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes to administer, are about hydrating the body, said Watson.

“Most people are dehydrated. They don’t drink enough water,” said Watson. “You need hydration for everything in your body and if you’re not properly hydrated all your processes start breaking down. And if you’re really dehydrated they will just stop.

“Through this process, you’re nourishing your body on a cellular level in a fast way,” said Watson. “You can take supplements, but one of the problems is that when it goes through your digestive
system, you’re probably only getting 30 percent of the benefit. This is just a really efficient way to make sure you’re healthy on a cellular level. It will help your overall health, how you feel, how you think and everything else.”

In addition to its IV treatments, DripBar offers infrared saunas, which use light waves to heat the body, helping to detoxify, relieve stress, and improve circulation.

"It's a soothing experience that leaves you feeling refreshed and revitalized," said Watson.

DripBar also utilizes red light therapy, which uses low-level wavelengths of light to treat skin issues, such as wrinkles, scars, and persistent wounds. It's non-invasive and promotes natural healing and rejuvenation, says Watson.
