Family Feud Turns Frightening When Gun Pulled At Bucks Co. Wawa: Police

WARRINGTON, PA — A man is facing numerous charges after brandishing a handgun during a fight in the parking lot of the Warrington Wawa on Wednesday.

Police were called to the store just before 4 p.m. for a report of two men fighting. The caller also reported that one of the men had pulled out a handgun, racked the slide, and pointed at the other man.

Officers reviewed Wawa’s surveillance video, which showed 34-year-old Joseph Michael Klusman II of Doylestown exiting a vehicle while holding a black firearm. Klusman then pointed the handgun at the other man’s face, manually cycled the slide twice, and again pointed the firearm at him, police said.

An investigation determined the two men were related. Two live rounds were also located on the ground.

Police said other people in the parking lot said they took cover, fearing for their lives as Klusman was pointing the firearm.

Klusman was located a short distance away. The firearm was later recovered from a backpack being carried by his girlfriend, 44-year-old Michelle Lee Milwrick, also of Doylestown.

Surveillance video also showed Milwrick selecting $27.70 worth of merchandise from Wawa and then exiting the store without paying.

Both Klusman and Milwrick were arrested and transported to the Warrington Police Department, where they were processed.

Klusman was arraigned by Judge Wertman, who set bail at $80,000 or 10 percent cash. Milwrick was arraigned by Judge O’Neill. Both were unable to post bail and were transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.

Klusman is charged with possession of a prohibited firearm, a 2nd-degree felony, and carrying a firearm without a license, a 3rd-degree felony. He has also been charged with three misdemeanors for simple assault, terroristic threats, and for recklessly endangering another person.

Milwrick has been charged with carrying a firearm without a license, retail theft, and receiving stolen property.
