Family Fun Center Brings Duckpin Bowling, Mini Golf To Doylestown
Main Street Sports and Social debuts with new entertainment offerings in the heart of Doylestown Borough.

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — Duckpin Bowling and an indoor mini golf course have joined the lineup at Doylestown’s hottest new indoor entertainment center.
The newly rebranded Main Street Sport and Social has opened just in time for the holiday season on the second and third floors of the MainStreet Marketplace (next to the Doylestown Bookshop on South Main Street).
Will Wister, the man behind Main Swing Golf, a state-of-the-art four-bay golf simulator that opened a year ago, has now expanded his venue to include a four-lane Duckpin Bowling Alley - a first in Bucks County - and a 9-hole indoor mini golf course.

“We have brought a whole new form of fun to Doylestown for all ages. We call it 'funtainment,'” said Wister, a Central Bucks graduate. “We are now a one-stop entertainment shop. You no longer have to travel into the city to experience this type of entertainment. It is now all right here in Doylestown.”
Located on the second floor of the MainStreet Marketplace, Main Swing now opens up into a new space called "Main Strike" featuring four lanes of Duckpin Bowling. Wister likens the game to a cross between skee ball and bowling.
Since opening a week ago, Wister said the four alleys have been getting heavy use by individuals, couples, and families.

The new venue also extends to the third floor where guests will find a 9-hole mini golf course called “Main Stroke,” and coming soon, the Main Sip Bar and Lounge.
“People are just starting to discover the mini golf,” said Wister. “We’ve custom-built nine unique holes, including one resembling the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. It’s challenging. It’s fun. And it can accommodate all ages.”
The bar, which is awaiting the final okay from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board to open, will be managed by Bucks County-based 1675 Spirits, which operates a whiskey, vodka, cocktail lounge and distillery in Bensalem. It will serve a curated collection of the finest local PA beers, wine, and spirits.
Wister said while the venue won’t be selling food, menus will be available for Main Street Sport and Social patrons to order food from Marketplace eateries and restaurants.
“We’re offering an unlimited day pass. You can come here, play a round of mini golf, go out shopping and then come back for some bowling just to relax at the bar,” said Wister.
All bookings can be placed online by clicking here,. The facility is open from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They will be closed on Thanksgiving.
