Flash Flood Warning Across Philadelphia Region
"Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly in the areas of heaviest rain," the NWS said.

A Flash Flood Warning is in place across the Philadelphia region, including in Bucks, Delaware and Montgomery counties through 8:15 p.m. Tuesday.
According to the National Weather Service, around 4:15 p.m., radar indicated heavy rain across the warned area. "Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly in the areas of heaviest rain," the NWS said.
Some locations that could experience flooding include Philadelphia, Bensalem, Norristown, East Norriton, Yeadon, Doylestown, Conshohocken, Hatboro, Folcroft, Ambler, Swarthmore, Jenkintown, Narberth, Chalfont, East Lansdowne, Rockledge, Yardley and Newtown.

If you encounter flooding waters while driving, turn around. "Most flood deaths occur in vehicles," the NWS warned.
