Gov't Employees Go Free To Michener Museum During Shutdown
The Michener Art Museum is offering free admission to all federal employees and a guest during the government shutdown.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Michener Art Museum in Doylestown is offering free general admission to all federal employees and one guest during the government shutdown. Children 12 and under are also free.
Visitors can redeem the offer for the duration of the government shutdown by presenting a Federal Government ID at the admissions desk.
The local museum joins the Bucks County Children's Museum, and local restaurants Jules Thin Crust and The Pineville Tavern, in offering freebies for federal workers who have been furloughed due to the shutdown.

The government has been shut down since Dec. 22, as lawmakers and President Donald Trump are at an impasse over funding for a wall along the southern border.
The Michener Art Museum is located at 138 S. Pine Street, Doylestown.
