The building has witnessed centuries of history, transforming from a resort hotel in the 1800s to a hub for various ventures.

POINT PLEASANT, PA — The iconic F.P. Kolbe/Poor Richard's complex, a beloved landmark on the Delaware River in Point Pleasant, has been acquired by the group behind the legendary People's Store in Lambertville, N.J., and Stone House Antiques in Doylestown.
Kolbes, just a scenic 10-mile river-view drive from New Hope and Frenchtown, N.J., along River Road, is easily accessible for antiques and art browsers, enthusiasts, and collectors.
Dating back to the 1780s, Kolbe has witnessed centuries of history, transforming from a resort hotel - Point Pleasant Inn - in the 1800s to a hub for various ventures, and for the better part of the past century, a cherished antique destination. Its original stained glass sign remains a testament to its rich past.
