'Major' Water Main Break In Doylestown Borough
A major water main break was reported Wednesday in Doylestown Borough. Repairs are scheduled, and the road will be closed for the day.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — A "major" water main break was reported Wednesday morning in Doylestown Borough.
The water main break is on North Street, near its intersection with Chapman Avenue.
It is not clear yet if water service is impacted, Borough Manager John Davis said in an email to Patch. It "depends on whether we can fix it under pressure without a shutdown," he said. Authorities are attempting that now, he said in the email just after 9:35 a.m.

Repairs are set to begin this morning, the borough announced on its official Twitter page. As a result, the road will be closed starting around 11 am. and will remain closed for the duration of the repairs.
The road is expected to reopen by 5 p.m. "barring problems or unforeseen circumstances," the announcement from the borough said.

There is a major water main break on North St near the intersection of Chapman Ave. The road will be closed beginning at around 11 am and remain closed for the duration of the repairs. Road should re-open by 5 pm barring problems or unforeseen circumstances.
