Man Swinging From A Tree At Justice Center Cited: Central Bucks Regional Police Report
This month's report also included the arrest of a man for DUI after he showed up intoxicated to pick up his brother from a DUI charge.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — For the month of September, the Central Bucks Regional Police Department logged 1,311 calls for service, made 35 arrests, and conducted 215 traffic stops. Highlights include an unusual situation in which police were called to the Justice Center for a man swinging from a tree.

FRAUD (BAD CHECKS) - 21 S. West Street (Lucy Chapman Hair), Doylestown Borough – A 49-year-old woman from Dublin was charged after paying for services with a bad check

UNDERAGE DRINKING – 18 N. Main St., Doylestown Borough – A 16-year-old boy from New Hope was cited after police observed him attempting to hide a can containing an alcoholic beverage.

ORDINANCE VIOLATION – N. Main and East Streets, Doylestown Borough – A 23-year-old man from Jamison and a 21-year-old man from Doylestown were cited after police observed them walking down the sidewalk smoking marijuana.
PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS – 100 N. Main Street (Justice Center), Doylestown Borough – Police cited a 38-year-old man from Philadelphia after responding to a report of a man swinging from a tree. After the man climbed down from the tree, he attempted to sit on a bench and almost fell over, police said. The man showed signs of intoxication.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE – S. Main and West Streets, Doylestown Borough - A 22-year-old man from Warrington was charged with DUI after failing to stop at a red traffic light. The man showed signs of intoxication.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE – 229 N. Broad St. (CBRPD HQ), Doylestown Borough – A 26-year-old man from Warrington was charged when he arrived in his vehicle to pick up his brother from a DUI charge earlier in the night. The man showed signs of intoxication.
PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS – 21 N. Main St., Doylestown Borough - A 61-year-old woman from Doylestown was cited after she was found passed out on the front steps of a store.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT – 19 W. Court St., Doylestown Borough – A 24-year-old man from Hampton, N.J., was cited for public urination.
PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS – 115 W. Court St. (Wells Fargo), Doylestown Borough – A 21-year-old man from Mount Royal, N.J., was cited after police responded to the bank parking lot for an intoxicated man on the ground.

HARASSMENT – 10 N. Main St., Doylestown Borough - A 57-year-old man from Pipersville was cited for repeatedly placing stickers on a vehicle that he claimed was illegally parked.

DRUG VIOLATIONS, DRIVING WHILE SUSPENDED(S), & OTHER CHARGES – W. Court and Lafayette Streets, Doylestown Borough - A 33-year-old man from Philadelphia was charged following a traffic stop for failure to stop at a stop sign.
UNDERAGE DRINKING – 31 W. State Street, Doylestown Borough - A 15-year-old boy from Jamison was cited after police observed him removing an alcoholic beverage from his backpack and going into an alley to drink.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE – E. State and S. Main Streets, Doylestown Borough – A 25-year-old man from Philadelphia was charged with DUI following a traffic stop for not using headlights during a required time. The man showed signs of intoxication.

RETAIL THEFT, RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY – 31 W. State St. (Something Else) and 53 W. State St. (Stormi Skye), Doylestown Borough – A 60-year-old woman from Durango, Colorado, was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property after stealing merchandise from both stores on Sept. 8.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT – 20 E. State St., Doylestown Borough – A 21-year-old Doylestown man was cited for public urination.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS – 45 E. State Street, Doylestown Borough – A 41-year-old Furlong man was cited after he was found face-down on the ground. The man showed signs of intoxication.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE – W. State and N. Main Streets, Doylestown Borough – A 20-year-old man from Lansdale was charged with DUI after he was stopped by police for making a left-hand turn where prohibited and traveling the wrong way on a one-way street. The man showed signs of intoxication.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS - 480 N. Main St. (Acme), Doylestown Borough - A 49-year-old man from Doylestown was charged after he took a beer and went to the bathroom to drink it. When police found the man, there were numerous empty beer cans located near him.
September 24
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE, DRUG VIOLATIONS(M) – 350 E. Butler Ave., New Britain Borough – A 48-year-old man from Philadelphia struck a deer. When police responded, the man was found to be under the influence, and drugs were present in the vehicle.
September 25
RETAIL THEFT, RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY, RESIST ARREST - 425 S. Main St. (Wawa), Doylestown Borough – A 36-year-old man, with no fixed address, was charged with the theft of merchandise on Sept. 20 and 25. He resisted arrest when police found him a few blocks away.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE – N. Main and East Streets, Doylestown Borough – A 24-year-old man was charged with DUI following a traffic stop for traveling the wrong way on a one-way street. The man showed signs of intoxication.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE – E. Butler Avenue and N. Main St., Chalfont Borough – A 27-year-old man from Warminster was charged with DUI following a traffic stop for running a red light. The man showed signs of intoxication.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS – 19 N. Main St., Doylestown Borough – A 21-year-old man from Mohnton was cited after officers observed him stumbling and vomiting in an alleyway.
September 28
RETAIL THEFT, RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY – 200 W. State St. (Simply Fresh), Doylestown Borough – A 69-year-old woman from Buckingham was charged after she loaded a shopping cart with products, left the store without paying, loaded items into her vehicle, and drove away on Sept. 21.

RETAIL THEFT – 425 S. Main St. (Wawa), Doylestown Borough - A 28-year-old man from Philadelphia and a 32-year-old man from Doylestown were charged with stealing food and beverages.
