Man Takes Life During Standoff In Doylestown: Report
A former Northampton Township supervisor died in the Doylestown Borough standoff, according to reports.

A man took his own life during a standoff in Doylestown earlier this month. The incident was first reported Friday by The Intelligencer.
The report said James Cunningham, a 45-year-old former drug and alcohol supervisor with the Bucks County Department of Corrections, took his own life during the standoff, which began Feb. 9 and extended into Feb. 10.
According to The Intelligencer, Cunningham was texting with negotiators on Central Bucks Special Response Team before taking his life.

Ironically, Cunningham was once a negotiator on the Central Bucks Special Response Team, the report said.
Cunningham is a former Northampton Township Supervisor.
