New Bench At Central Bucks Elementary School Will Make You Smile
Great idea: If a child is feeling lonely or needs a friend, they sit on the 'Buddy Bench' to signal to others they need a playmate.

WARRINGTON, PA — A new bench at the playground of a Central Bucks school should make you smile.
Mill Creek Elementary has a new Buddy Bench to help encourage student empathy and new friendships, according to the Central Bucks Education Association.
Here's how it works: if a child's friend is absent or they don't have someone to play with, they can sit on the bench. "This signals other students to come and invite them to join their group," the Central Bucks Education said via Facebook, where it shared this picture of the bench.
