New Britain Covered Bridge Closed Friday

The covered bridge on Keeley Avenue in New Britain Township will close temporarily on Friday, June 15, Bucks County officials announced Thursday.

Bridge 86, located on Keeley Ave in New Britain Township, will close at 9 am for routine maintenance and cleanup operations. The bridge should reopen by the evening, officials said.

Drivers going between Ferry Road and West Butler Avenue should take Limekiln Road to the North or Route 152, Main Street, and Park Avenue to the South.
