Stationery Store Celebrates Grand Opening
Bucks Bespokery, a new specialty stationery shop featuring fountain pens, vibrant inks, journals, fine papers, and cards, will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29 at Peddler's Village in Lahaska. The new store is a distinctive complement to the notable array of specialty shops at Peddler’s Village — the majority of which are locally owned small businesses — that offer unique experiences and one-of-a-kind gifts. Parxview Hotel Opens In Bensalem
Parx Casino opened its first hotel on Thursday, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tours of the new Parxview Hotel at 3327 Street Road in Bensalem. The project also includes the debut of Bistro at Parxview, a new restaurant and bar at the site. “Parxview Hotel represents an exciting new chapter for our property and our guests,” said Eric Hausler, CEO at Parx Casino. “This hotel transforms Parx into a true overnight destination, allowing guests to enjoy everything we offer from gaming and dining to live entertainment while enjoying the comfort and sophistication of a premier hotel experience.”

Popular Wrightstown Deli Closes Its Doors
The Hometown Deli, a breakfast and lunch staple for years in the Wrightstown community, has closed its doors at the Village at Anchor Crossing at the busy intersection of Routes 413 and 232. The deli was a go-to place for locals for breakfast sandwiches and platters, and its wide selection of lunch sandwiches, including the Newtown (tuna, bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion), the Buckingham (chicken salad, bacon, lettuce, and tomato) and the Penns Park (pastrami, corned beef, lettuce, tomato, and onion).

Nursery Owner Recognized With Award
Mike Feeney, the owner of Feeney's Wholesale Nursery in Buckingham and a board member with Bucks Beautiful, has received the 2026 Fredrick J. Mummert Distinguished Service Award from the Pennsylvania Landscape & Nursery Association. The award — PLNA’s highest membership honor — recognizes individuals whose careers reflect exceptional leadership, professional excellence, and a lasting commitment to advancing the green industry. It is granted only with unanimous approval from the organization’s board of directors, underscoring the significance of Feeney’s contributions.

Store Raises Thousands For Hunger Relief
ShopRite of Yardley raised nearly $55,000 in this year’s ShopRite Partners In Caring Cheerios Contest. That effort allowed ShopRite to finish among the top five fundraising stores in the annual anti-hunger campaign. ShopRite celebrated the fundraising efforts during a ceremony on March 20 at its Big Oak Road store. The annual contest is sponsored with General Mills and takes place during Hunger Action Month in September.
