1. 25 Exceptional Bucks Co. Students Share $25K In Scholarships (patch.com) — Doylestown-based Foundations Community Partnership has awarded $25,000 in scholarships to 25 Bucks County high school seniors recognized for community service, academics, and character. Students from Central Bucks, Palisades, Pennridge, Quakertown, and other area schools each receive $1,000, with several local health and banking organizations co-sponsoring awards that highlight youth leadership across the county.
   

2. Nook Fair Bringing Creativity And Family Fun To Doylestown (patch.com) — Families in and around Doylestown can look forward to the free Nook Fair on Sunday, August 30, at Nook Nook Creative Village on Skyron Drive. The all-day event near Doylestown Airport will feature live music, art activities, games, food vendors, and a Creative Kids Market where young local entrepreneurs sell their handmade creations.
   

3. Bucks IU Opening Day Gathers Staff at William Tennent (lowerbuckstimes.com) — Bucks IU kicked off the 2026-27 school year with an Opening Day gathering at William Tennent, bringing together staff who usually work across more than 270 schools. Their home base on North Shady Retreat Road in Doylestown anchors services that will soon return to classrooms countywide, supporting students with specialized instruction, behavior support, and early childhood programs.
   

4. New Crisis Center in Doylestown Brings New Approach to Mental Health (tapinto.net) — A new Bright Path Center on North West Street near Doylestown Hospital is now open for walk-in mental health and behavioral health crises, with no appointment or insurance required. Staffed by psychiatrists, nurses, peer specialists, and crisis workers, the 22,000-square-foot facility offers short-term stays, connects people to ongoing care, and aims to divert many residents from costly, stressful emergency room visits.
   

5. CB East teen's 'American Ninja Warrior' journey ends. Will he return? (phillyburbs.com) — A Central Bucks East junior from Plumsteadville just wrapped an impressive rookie run on NBC's "American Ninja Warrior," and he's already planning a return next season. Alongside football, he plays rugby for the Doylestown Rugby Club, tying his national TV moment back to the local sports community and inspiring other young athletes training in Bucks County.
