Polish-American Festival Returns to Czestochowa

Polka music and the aroma of sauerkraut will fill the air this weekend at the 47^th annual Polish-American Family Festival and Country Fair at the  north of Doylestown.

The festival, which runs Sept. 1, 2, 3 and 8 and 9, will be open from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

About 25,000 people have come in recent years to celebrate Polish heritage, check out musical acts and traditional dancing, as well as savor the tastes of Polish dishes and beer.

A Polish village and market and rides for kids of all ages complete the festivities.

Parking is free; admission is $10 per person.
