Rt. 611 In Plumstead To Close Saturday

PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — A portion of Rt. 611 in Plumstead Township will close Saturday, Sept. 29 for pipe replacement, PennDOT announced.

From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. that day, Rt. 611 will close between Silo Hill and Stump roads. The closure is needed for drainage pipe replacement.

During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Silo Hill Road, Point Pleasant Pike, Rt. 413 and Stump Road. Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.

The schedule is weather dependent and subject to change. "Please prepare yourself ahead of time and expect delays," PennDOT said.
