Shot Fired During New Britain Bank Robbery, Police Seek Suspect

A shot was fired during an armed robbery Wednesday at the Wells Fargo Bank on W. Butler Avenue and County Line Road in New Britain Township, police said.

According to a post on the New Britain Township Police Facebook page, one shot was fired at the ceiling during the robbery. No injuries were reported.

Police released a photo of the suspect involved in the robbery. If you can identify the person in the photo or have information about the robbery, call police at 215-822-1910.

The same bank was robbed in June by a man who looked to be in his 50s, The Intelligencer reported.
