Student-Built House Finds A Home In Bucks County

The two-story, 2,688-square feet​ house features four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a kitchen, dining room, living room and laundry room.

JAMISON, PA — A house built by students at the Middle Bucks Institute of Technology has found a home in Bucks County.

The home was disassembled and loaded by crane on to four flatbed trucks, then transported to the buyer’s site.

The student built house is built primarily by students in the Construction Carpentry program. The electrical and plumbing for the home was installed by the students enrolled in the Electrical Technology and Plumbing & Heating programs.

The house is built to the highest residential construction standards including six-foot exterior walls, Anderson high performance windows, 200 amp electrical service and more.
