Three New Officers Join Central Bucks Regional Police Department

Central Bucks Regional Police Commission approves the hiring at its December meeting.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Central Bucks Regional Police Commission on Dec. 20 approved the hiring of three new officers - Dan Boyle, Kaitlyn Roth and Thomas Wood.

Officer Dan Boyle, a former sergeant with the Bucks County Sheriff's Department for the past 21 years and most recently a part-time officer with the Central Bucks Regional Police Department, brings a wealth of experience to his new position, including experience a a firearms instructor.

Officer Kaitlyn Roth comes to the department from the Temple University Police Department where she has spent the past seven years. She holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Temple and is a graduate of Central Bucks West High School.

Thomas Wood is a recent graduate of the Montgomery County Police Academy and will be starting his police career with the Central Bucks Regional Police Department which serves Doylestown Borough, Chalfont Borough and New Britain Borough.

Officer Thomas Wood is welcomed to the department.
