Tickets for Central Bucks Schools VH-1 Save The Music Concerts On Sale Saturday

Get ready Central Bucks Schools families, the 2017 VH-1 Save the Music concerts are set and tickets are on sale starting Saturday, Dec. 17.

This year's theme is "Dynamic Duos" and focuses on famous musical pairs from great songwriting teams, to musical husband-wife acts, to classic rock partners, to TV icons, to the biggest duos in contemporary music, and more.

This series of the VH-1 Save the Music concerts features popular music from the last 80 years performed by CB staff, students, alumni and friends.

The concerts will be held on Friday, Jan. 27 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 28 at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at Holicong Middle School, 2900 Township 391 Highway, Doylestown.

All proceeds from the three concerts benefit the VH-1 Save the Music Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring music programs in America's public schools, and raising awareness about the importance of music as part of each child's complete education, the district said.

Last year Central Bucks Schools raised $24,500 for Save the Music.

This year, the district wants to reach the $25,000 mark and needs the community's help.

The district is looking for sponsorships and donations from local businesses. All sponsorship and donation information can be found online here.

Tickets sales being at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17 and cost just $7 for students and $13 for adults. Get your tickets online here.

Holicong H-Factor and Tamanend Gold n' Blues will be featured at all three shows.
