Wawa has started to make their move into South Doylestown.

Photos taken August 22, 2019 show the former TD Bank site at 425 South Main Street completely cleared and ready for construction.

The South Doylestown location was approved by Doylestown Borough despite a few neighborhood challenges.

Discussions continue about building the Wawa store near the Cross Keys intersection of Swamp Road and Easton Road, where Doylestown, Buckingham and Plumstead come together. Construction on a connector road is ongoing.

However, the new Wawa slated for Fountainville at Rt 313 and Ferry Road appears to be on the ropes and at risk of not being approved.
