$1,220-Plus In Items Stolen From Havertown Giant Since January

Haverford Police reported several thefts from the grocery store since the start of the year, with more than $1,200 in merchandise stolen.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Several thefts from the Havertown Giant store has led to more than $1,000 in merchandise being stolen since the start of the year.

Police in Haverford Township have reported four thefts from the store at 116 W. Township Line Road since January.

The first theft occurred on Jan. 1.

Two women stole $320.98 worth of groceries from the store, police said.

They were seen leaving the area in a white Nissan Rogue.

In another incident, a woman took $159.68 worth of food merchandise in a shopping cart on Jan. 2, according to police.

While leaving the store, the cart locked upon, police said.

A Giant Employee unlocked the cart and the woman went to her vehicle with the items.

The next incident saw a man and a woman steal $240.07 worth of merchandise from the store on Jan. 5, police said.

Lastly, a woman took more than $500 worth of items from the store on Jan. 30, police said.
