2 Accused Of Delaware County Home Break-Ins

An 18-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy are facing burglary and related charges in connection with home break-ins in Delaware County.

BROOKHAVEN, PA — Two people, one 18 and the other 15, have been arrested and charged in connection with two burglaries in Delaware county that occurred recently.

The Brookhaven Police Department and the Criminal Investigation Division of the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office said Christopher Jiménez, 18, and a 15-year-old boy, both of Chester, were arrested on residential burglary and related charges on Jan. 15.

The pair are accused of breaking into two unoccupied homes in Brookhaven Saturday, Jan. 11 and Tuesday, Jan. 14.

They are facing burglary, theft, trespassing, possession of an instrument of crime, and more charges.

Jiménez was held on $100,000 cash bail.

Police said items stolen in the break-ins have been recovered and are being returned to their owners.
