2 Rescued In Haverford 3-Vehicle Crash Sunday

Two people had to be extricated from vehicles Sunday following a crash in Haverford Township, according to the Manoa Fire Company.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Two people had to be extricated from vehicles in a three-vehicle crash that occurred Sunday evening in Haverford Township.

According to the Manoa Fire Company, a three-car crash occurred at about 7 p.m. Sunday at West Chester Pike and Steel Road in Haverford.

Crews found two occupants involved in the crash needed to be removed from vehicles.

The fire company said crews stabilized the vehicles and took out windshields.

Then, the roof of one vehicle involved was cut off to get the occupant out, according to the fire company.

The fire company said crews had extricated the two occupants within 10 minutes.

Assisting the Manoa Fire Company were the Llanerch Volunteer Fire Company, Radnor Fire Company, Haverford Township Police, and Narberth Ambulance.
