2018 Review: Exchange Student Threatened To Shoot Up Delco School
One of 2018's biggest stories: Taiwanese exchange student threatened to shoot up a Delco school. He's being deported and banned from the US.

Threats against schools are taken very seriously anymore, and one instance in Delaware County led to a foreign exchange student being federal charged and banned from ever returning to the United States.
An Tso Sun was in the U.S. as a foreign exchange student, attending school at Bonner-Pendergrast High School in Drexel Hill.
In March, Sun told a fellow student he was going to shoot up the school on May 1, then said he was kidding. The student told officials, and police were notified.

Sun was found to have hundreds of rounds of ammunition, a homemade 9 mm handgun, a crossbow with arrows, a military vest, a strangling tool, and much more that led authorities to believe his threat was credible.
Later, federal charges were filed in addition to local charges, which led to Sun being ordered deported and banned from reentering the U.S.
