32 Vehicles Broken Into: Haverford Police Blotter

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — The latest Haverford Township Police blotter is out and it features some alarming information.
The blotter covers police handled incidents that occurred between March 26 and April 1.
Police said 32 vehicles were broken into in the last week, 26 of which were unlocked.

INCIDENTS:
- Theft at the 1500 block of Sunny Hill Lane on March 26 at 12:52 p.m. – Four unlocked vehicles were entered, $90, two weightlifting belts and a sawzall were stolen.
- Theft at Petersen Kitchens, 500 block of Lancaster Avenue, on March 26 at 4:52 p.m. – Unsecured van was entered, tools and wallet were stolen.
- Theft at Wyndmor Apartments, 100 block of S. Eagle Road on March 26 at 2:36 p.m. – Victim reported jewelry missing from her apartment.
- Theft at the 200 block of Oxford Hill Lane on March 26 at 7:03 a.m. – Two unlocked vehicles were entered, loose change was stolen.
- Theft at the 1500 block of Sunny Hill Lane on March 26 at 6:59 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, loose change and a purse was stolen.
- Theft at the 1500 block of Sunny Hill Lane on March 26 at 7:28 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, loose change was stolen.
- Theft at the 1500 block of Sunny Hill Lane on March 26 at 7:34 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, loose change and a flashlight was stolen.
- Theft at the 200 block of Oxford Hill Lane on March 26 at 8:04 p.m. – Two unlocked vehicles were entered, loose change was stolen.
- Attempted Theft at the 200 block of Oxford Hill Road on March 26 at 5:37 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, nothing was reported missing.
- Attempted Theft at the 200 block of Oxford Hill Road on March 26 at 6:01 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, nothing was reported missing.
- Attempted Theft at the 200 block of Oxford Hill Lane on March 26 at 6:20 a.m. – Two unlocked vehicles were entered, nothing was reported missing.
- Attempted Theft at the 1500 block of Brierwood Road on March 26 at 6:39 a.m. – Victim provided police with a video that shows an unknown subject carrying a bag walk between his vehicles. It appears that the subject pulls on the door handles. Neither of the vehicles were enters, as each was locked.
- Attempted Theft at the 1500 block of Sunny Hill Lane on March 26 at 7:16 a.m. – Two unlocked vehicles were entered, nothing was reported missing.
- Attempted Theft at the 1400 block of Sunny Hill Lane on March 26 at 12:38 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, nothing was reported missing.
- Fraud at the 2000 block of West Chester Pike on March 26 at 4:09 p.m. – An unknown person gained access into the victim’s payroll account and withdrew $23,387.03.
- Theft at the unit block of Colonial Road on March 27 at 6:56 a.m. – Two vehicles were entered, loose change, candy, sunglasses and gift cards were stolen.
- Theft at the unit block of Colonial Road on March 27 at 9:27 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, loose change and a roadside assistance kit valued at $125 was stolen.
- Theft at the unit block of Colonial Road on March 27 at 7:10 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, two wallets and a toy train were stolen.
- Theft at the unit block of Colonial Road on March 27 at 9:14 a.m. – Vehicle was entered, loose change was stolen.
- Motor Vehicle Theft at the 200 block of Juniper Road on March 27 at 9:25 a.m.
- Criminal Mischief at Wilkie Lexus, 500 block of W. Lancaster Avenue, on March 27 at 7:58 a.m. – Vehicle window was damaged.
- Attempted Burglary at the 1200 block of Center Road on March 28 at 8:14 p.m. – Victim reported pry marks on her front door. It does not appear entry was gained.
- Theft at the unit block of Treaty Road on March 29 at 11:02 a.m. – Vehicle was entered, a gun was stolen.
- Theft at the 1300 block of Dermond Avenue on March 29 at 10:26 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, loose change was stolen.
- Theft at the 1300 block of Dermond Road on March 29 at 4:37 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, $25 was stolen.
- Attempted Theft at the 100 block of Flintlock Road on March 29 at 6:49 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, nothing was reported missing.
- Attempted Theft at the 200 block of Signal Road on March 29 at 7:37 a.m. – Two unlocked vehicles were entered, nothing was reported missing.
- Attempted Theft at the 200 block of Signal Road on March 29 at 7:52 hours – Two vehicles were entered, nothing was reported missing.
- Attempted Theft at the 100 block of Flintlock Road on March 29 at 7:58 hours – Unlocked vehicle was entered, nothing was reported missing.
- Theft at JD McGillicuddy’s, unit block of Brookline Boulevard, on March 31 at 3:22 a.m. – cell phone was stolen.
- Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on April 1 at 11:56 a.m. – Two white males and one white female stole $286 worth of merchandise and fled the store.
- Theft at the 100 block of Wood Road on April 1 at 1 p.m. – Victim reported money missing from his bedroom.
- Theft at the Quadrangle, 3300 block of Darby Road, on April 1 at 2:25 p.m. – Victim reported his pocket watch, costume jewelry and tax documents were stolen from his apartment.
- Motor Vehicle Theft at the 900 block of N. Eagle Road on April 1 at 5:27 p.m.

- White male, 35, 7000 block of Cleveland Avenue, Upper Darby. Charges: Indirect criminal contempt. Location: 500 block of Country Club Lane. Date: March 22 at 4:51 p.m.
- Black male, 25, 200 block of W. Baltimore Avenue, Lansdowne. Charges: Retail theft. Location: Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: March 27 at 10:51 a.m.
- White male, 37, 600 block of Buttonwood Drive, Springfield. Charges: Retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Location: Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: March 27 at 1:44 p.m.
- White male, 42, 100 block of Willowbrook Road, Clifton Heights. Charges: DUI, careless driving, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: Earlington and Strathmore Roads. Date: March 28 at 12:30 a.m.
- White male, 26, unit block of Golf House Road, Haverford. Charges: Simple assault, harassment and possession of marijuana. Location: unit block of Golf House Road. Date: March 29 at 4:59 a.m.
- White female, 65, 3200 block of Township Line Road, Drexel Hill. Charges: Possession of a controlled substance. Location: 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: March 29 at 1:23 p.m.
- White male, 23, Homeless. Charges: Attempted rape, corruption of minors, Criminal trespass, indecent assault, indecent exposure, simple assault and open lewdness. Location: 2600 block of Chestnut Avenue. Date: March 30 at 3:34 p.m.
- White female, 56, 2200 block of Dermond Avenue, Upper Darby. Charges: Retail theft, receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance. Location: Kohl’s, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: March 30 at 7:58 p.m.
- White male, 73, 100 block of Plumstead Avenue, Lansdowne. Charges: DUI and careless driving. Location: Eagle and Wyndmor Roads. Date: March 31 at 9:38 p.m.
