Alleged Havertown Bank Robber Caught In Philadelphia
Michael Edmondson is accused of robbing a Havertown bank, as well as banks in Upper Merion, Bensalem, and Philadlephia, police said.

HAVERTOWN, PA — Police in Philadelphia said a man suspected of robbing a Havertown bank in late February has been captured.
Police said Michael Edmondson, 50, of Philadelphia, was arrested recently after robberies in Havertown, Upper Merion, Bensalem, and Philadelphia police said.
Edmondson is accused of robbing a Citizens Bank branch inside the Giant on Township Line Road in Havertown on Feb. 24.

He is also accused of robbing a Wells Fargo Bank branch at 3625 Horizon Boulevard in Bensalem on Feb. 19, and robbing the Wells Fargo Bank branch at 694 West Dekalb Pike in Upper Merion on Feb. 27.
Edmondson was arrested on robbery, theft, and simple assault charges in Philadelphia on March 6, according to court records.

In all, Edmondson faces six robbery charges, four theft charges, four receiving stolen property charges, and more, court records show.
Edmondson is being held on 10 percent of $200,000 bail in Philadelphia and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on March 26.
