Armed Man Arrested After Entering Delco School: Police
A man armed with a gun and in possession of drugs was let inside the Park Lane Elementary School in Darby Friday, according to police.

DARBY, PA – An man armed with a gun who also had drugs on him was arrested after being allowed inside a Delaware County elementary school Friday, according to police.
Darby Borough Police said 21-year-old Nazher Sabree, of Philadelphia, was taken into custody Friday after he was let into Park Lane Elementary School while armed with a stolen semiautomatic handgun and in possession of drugs.
Police said Sabree was allowed in the school by Principal Dawnee Watson-Bouie at noon after he was seen picking up and putting down garbage while shirtless outside the school at about 9 a.m.

According to police, Watson-Bouie let Sabree into the school when she recognized him as a former student and Sabree said he left a bag inside the elementary school. Sabree has no current connection to the school.
Sabree and Watson-Bouie talked, then Watson-Bouie showed him out of the school, and police said that's when he began running up and down the street trying to enter homes at about 12:15 p.m.

The school was then placed on lockdown, police said.
Police were then called and chased Sabree, who began to pull out the gun but police were able to take him into custody after a struggle.
No one was hurt in the incident and no shots were fired, police said.
Sabree has an "extensive" criminal history, including burglary, assault, and theft, according to police.
He is being charged with firearm and related offenses, police said.
The handgun in questions was reported stolen from a vehicle in Lansdowne in early December, but it's unclear if Sabree stole the gun himself.
