Assault, Robbery, More Charges Filed In Haverford Teen Attacks

According to a news report, a juvenile has been charged with robbery, assault, terroristic threats, and unlawful restraint for the attacks.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Charges have been filed in connection with recent assaults on teenagers in Haverford Township, according to reports.

Action News reports Haverford Township Police have made an arrest related to the attacks.

The suspected ringleader of the recent attacks has been taken to a juvenile detention center Thursday on charges of robbery, assault, terroristic threats, and unlawful restraint, Fox 29 reports.

The attacks took place over the weekend, police said.

One of the incidents occurred between the Skatium and Wawa on Darby Road.

Police are working with the School District of Haverford Township in connection with the incidents.

"These type of actions by unruly juveniles will not be tolerated," police said. "Increased patrols will be in effect to address these groups of disorderly juveniles."

Police urged parents to talk with their children to know where they are and what they are doing.
