Assault, Vehicle Theft Caught On Camera In Delco

A group of four people assaulted a man at a Lansdowne gas station on Sept. 1, stole his car keys, then drove off in his vehicle.

LANSDOWNE, PA — Police in Delaware County are investigating a robbery and stolen vehicle incident that occurred on Sept. 1. The entire incident was caught on camera

According to East Lansdowne Police, a man was assaulted inside a Sunoco gas station at 401 Baltimore Pike at about 2:24 a.m. Sept. 1.

Police said three men and a woman assaulted the victim in the gas station's parking lot, then followed him into the store and assaulted him again.

After the second assault, the four took the victim's car keys.

Police said one of the suspects drove off in the vehicle, which is a silver Infiniti, and it was followed by a white newer model Hyundai sedan, possible an Ioniq model.

The vehicles were last seen on Hirst Avenue, police said.

Police described the suspects only as black.
