HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA —

INCIDENTS

  • Burglary at Next Coffee Shop, 2500 block of Haverford Road, on Oct. 5 at 7 a.m. – Forced entry was gained through the front door. $275 was stolen from the cash drawer.
  • Forgery at the 100 block of Colfax Road on Oct. 5 at 11:19 a.m. – A check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
  • Retail Theft at Wawa, 1000 block of Darby Road, on Oct. 6 at 12:06 a.m. – A delivery driver reported that an unknown male stole a case of cigarettes while he was unloading his truck.
  • Theft at the 1600 block of Lawrence Road on Oct. 6 at 2:36 p.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered – A wallet containing identification and credit cards was stolen. $200 in unauthorized purchases were made with the credit cards.
  • Forgery at the 100 block of Colfax Road on Oct. 6 at 11:30 a.m. – A check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
  • Forgery at the 100 block of Oxford Hill Lane on Oct. 6 at 1:31 p.m. – A check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
  • Fraud at the 1200 block of Bon Air Road on Oct. 6 at 8:12 p.m. – Victim reported that he was the victim of a real estate scam.
  • Fraud at the 600 block of Country Club Lane on Oct. 6 at 10:37 p.m. – Victim reported that someone accessed her Amazon account to make a purchase.
  • Theft at Wawa, unit block of East Eagle Road, on Oct. 7 at 6:26 p.m. – The victim reported that his wallet was stolen from his backpack.
  • Public Drunkenness at the 2100 block of Darby Road on Oct. 7 at 7:30 p.m. – 48-year-old male, 100 block of Edgehill Road, Bala Cynwyd was cited for public drunkenness.
  • Burglary at Victoria Arm Apartments, 1300 block of East Darby Road, on Oct. 8 at 3:50 a.m. – A cell phone was reported missing from an unsecured apartment.
  • Forgery at the 200 block of Ellis Road on Oct. 8 at 4:49 p.m. – A check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
  • Fraud at the unit block of Decatur Road on Oct. 8 at 2:39 p.m. – Victim reported that he received a text message from someone claiming to be his boss. The victim was told to purchase $20,000 in gift cards for a function.
  • Vandalism at the 100 block of Strathmore Road on Oct. 9 at 11:27 a.m. – An unknown juvenile pulled out temporary no parking signs and the wire frames.
  • Vandalism at the 800 block of Dover Road on Oct. 9 at 12:22 p.m. – Multiple vehicles were keyed.
  • Theft at Barnaby’s, 1900 block of Old West Chester Pike, on Oct. 10 at 10:14 p.m. – Catalytic converter was stolen from the vehicle.
  • Identity Theft at the 100 block of East Manoa Road on Oct. 11 at 11:30 a.m. – Victim reported that someone used her identity to open an account with Affirm Inc.
