HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township issued their crime blotter from Aug. 3 to Aug. 9.

INCIDENTS

• Burglary in the 400 block of Valley Glen Road on Aug. 3 at 10:14 a.m. – victim states that the rear patio door was smashed and jewelry was taken. Investigation is ongoing.
• Theft from Vehicle in the 600 block of Glendale Road on Aug. 3 at 6:28 p.m. – victim’s rear window of her vehicle was smashed, and her purse was taken.
• Fraud in the 600 block of Ardmore Avenue on Aug. 3 at 9:15 a.m. – a check sent through the mail and altered.
• Vandalism in the 1600 block of Beverly Road on Aug. 3 at 9:41 a.m. – the victim’s rear windshield was broken overnight.
• Disorderly Conduct at Polo Field, 900 block of Railroad Avenue, on Aug. 3 at 8:18 p.m. – 32-year-old male, 800 block of Penn Street, Bryn Mawr was cited.
• Fraud in the 1700 block of Green Valley Road on Aug. 4 at 5:51 p.m. – victim was scammed from an email.
• Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Aug. 5 at 2:39 p.m. – numerous items were taken from the above location by an unknown actor; investigation ongoing.
• Fraud at Orsini’s Auto Body, 2500 block of Haverford Road, on Aug. 5 at 11:50 a.m, – a check sent through the mail and altered.
• Fraud in the 700 block of E. Manoa Road on Aug. 5 at 1:09 p.m. – a check sent through the mail and altered.
• Fraud in the 2300 block of Darby Road on Aug. 5 at 3:15 hours – unknown actor gained access to victims’ bank account; investigation ongoing.
• Arson at Merwood Park, 2500 block of Wynnefield Drive, on Aug. 6 at 1:35 a.m. – two trashcans were set on fire.
• Public Drunkenness in the unit block of Brookline Blvd. on Aug. 6 at 1:47 a.m. – 25- year-old male, unit block of Veterans Road, Media was cited.
• Disorderly Conduct in the 1600 block of Steel Road on Aug. 7 at 9:22 a.m. – 23-yearold male, 1400 block of E. Cliveden Street, Philadelphia, was cited.
• Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line, on Aug. 8 at 10:56 a.m. – victim states that her wallet was taken out of her purse while shopping.
• Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Aug. 8 at 1:20 p.m. – victims’ phone was taken.
• Fraud in the unit block of Decatur Road on Aug. 8 at 1000 hours - a check sent through the mail and altered.
• Fraud in the unit block of W. Wilmont Avenue on Aug. 8 at 2:10 p.m. – a check sent through the mail and altered.
• Fraud in the unit block of Wickham Road on Aug. 8 at 4:40 p.m. – a check sent through the mail and altered.
• Fraud in the unit block of Kathmere Road on Aug. 8 at 10:15 p.m. – victim states that an unknown person made a purchase with her credit card.
• Attempted Theft at Ace Hardware, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on Aug. 9 at 7:13 a.m. – unknown subject tried to remove a catalytic converter from a vehicle.
• Fraud in the unit block of Pennsylvania Avenue on Aug. 9 at 3 p.m. – unknown subject made purchases using the victims’ credit card.
