Armed Carjackers Targeted 2 Women In Delaware County
Police in Upper Darby shared photos of a vehicle involved in two armed carjackings that occurred recently.

UPPER DARBY, PA — Two armed carjackings targeting women in Delaware County have occurred recently and police are asking for help identifying the suspects.
According to Upper Darby Township Police, the first carjacking occurred on Sept. 8 on the 500 block of Wilde Avenue in Drexel Hill
Two men, one armed with a handgun, accosted a female as she was leaving her vehicle.

They took her purse and her vehicle.
Police are looking for the victim’s vehicle, a black 2015 Acura RDX with Pennsylvania registration GKH5865, and the vehicle seen above, which was described as a white Kia K5 GT.

Then on Sunday evening, police were called to 4000 block Brunswick Avenue for an attempted carjacking.
Two males were armed with handguns during the incident.
Both suspects were described as thin-built black males, possibly in their early to mid-twenties. One suspect’s face was covered with a sheer stocking-like mask.
The other possessed a black handgun. Preliminary investigation leads us to believe the victim may have been followed from her place of employment in the City of Philadelphia.
