Condo Fire Battled In Haverford Thursday Evening
A condominium on Llanalew Road in Haverford caught fire Thursday evening, but a quick response helped contain the fire to one unit.

HAVERFORD, PA — A condominium in Haverford caught fire Thursday afternoon, according to the Merion Fire Company of Ardmore.
Fire broke out at a condo along the 100 block of Llanalew Road in Haverford at about 4:14 p.m. Thursday.
Crews found heavy fire at the properties and raised a second alarm, the fire company said.

Firefighters made their way into the building unit and knocked down the fire, preventing it from spreading further, according to the fire company.
A joint effort by responders kept the fire from catching in other units.
