DUI Crackdown In Haverford Township This Weekend
The Northern Delaware County DUI Taskforce — Haverford, Marple, Newtown, Radnor, and Springfield — is looking for DUI drivers this weekend.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Haverford Township will be cracking down on DUI this weekend in conjunction with several other police departments.
Haverford Police will be conducting roving DUI patrols this weekend as part of the Northern Delaware County DUI Taskforce's crackdown starting Friday and lasting through the weekend.
The Northern Delaware County DUI Taskforce includes Haverford, Marple, Newtown, Radnor and Springfield Townships.

Formed in 2009, the taskforce has arrested 176 drivers for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, issued 47 citations for underage drinking, 1,179 citations and 1,736 warnings for other motor vehicle violations via 109 operations to date.
The purpose of the Northern Delaware County DUI Taskforce is to save lives on the roadways and reduce injuries by aggressively enforcing DUI laws.
